People are going to compare the new Microsoft Surface PC to Apple’s iPad, even though the Surface is a PC and the iPad is a tablet.
So, we’ll save you the trouble and do a side-by-side comparison of the two:
These are the initial specs. Somethings like Blue-Tooth were not immediately specified, though we expect it to have it.
And again, this isn’t a tablet but people want to see it’s differences with the latest iPad.
*Update: to tease hairs, I beleive the Surface to be a Tablet PC, while the iPad is an XL iPod*
I really hope that the RT runs well. That is most likely what I would be getting.
Its more of a slate plus it is a fully functional PC. It teatering on something besides tablet, the price is what will determine where my heart goes. This looks incredible, but if its price is up there with current win8 tabs then i’m out. But if it comes in at 5 or 6 hundy, then screw Google and Apple, I’m going with the big M
Haha, they were careful not to call it a tablet at the show. But on the site I see they call it a tablet now. Tablet PC! Not just XL iPod!

What do you mean NOT a tablet? Sure, I feel the whole attachable keyboard makes it much more Laptopesque, but minus it and you straight have a tablet. Also, they keep calling it a tablet lol. Now i’m really going to have to get a windows phone instead of android! Dagnabit
